Hi all you Begbrook Rock n Rollers.
Just an update on our December, January, and February programme.
Our dance on December 3rd, featuring Joey and the Jivers was a roaring success with Joey pulling out all the stops
to produce a rip roaring show which was much appreciated by all who attended.
On Thursday December 15th we held
our Christmas party dance with The Roosters. With the club bursting at the seams, the band really did put in a splendid
performance, and I must admit, having seen them many times before, this was probably the best I've ever seen them.
On Boxing Night this year, we held our usual dance and we would like to thank all the people who attended to make
it a special night.
This year on New Years Eve we held our dance at the Civil Service Club at Filton Avenue
which was again, a sell out and enjoyed by everyone. Myself, Bo Duddley played music which hopefully covered all tastes
and which again, was in with the keeping the occasion. As midnight approached, the dance floor was in full swing to
welcome in the New Year.
Heading into 2012, on Saturday the 14th January we have the Downtown Daddios so
we are looking forward to a good old rock n roll night.
Saturday February 4th will bring The Doomsday Rockers for
the first time to Begbrook, so looking forward to another good night.
Our Valentines dance will be held on Thursday
the 16th February.
March 3rd brings a new band to Begbrook named the Black Cadillacs which will be the first
appearance of this band in the Bristol area so we are all looking forward to this well recommended band.
